Gabi represents corporate clients in labor and employment matters including wrongful termination and discrimination claims, OSHA litigation and compliance, class actions, e-discovery issues, and investigations. Prior to joining Muskat, Martinez & Mahony, LLP, Gabi was an attorney with Venable LLP in Baltimore, Maryland, and Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.

Representative Experience

 

  • Obtained favorable results for employers in federal and state court and in arbitration on claims of discrimination, retaliation, FMLA, and on various state-law claims.
  • Represented employers before the EEOC and obtained dismissal of numerous employee charges of discrimination.
  • Represented employers before the Texas Workforce Commission in claims for unemployment compensation.
  • Handled complex discovery issues, including issues involving electronic discovery.
  • Oral argument in both federal and state appellate courts.
  • Successfully opposed class certification in both state and federal courts.
  • Handled expert issues, including expert depositions and Daubert motions.
  • Represented clients in mediation and settlement proceedings.
